Why I’m Running
Public service has always been about people.
Over the past 10 years, I have watched Coquitlam grow and change. As a mother, Burke Mountain resident, community leader and nonprofit executive, I have seen both the opportunities created by growth and the pressure it places on roads, services, families, local organizations and neighbourhoods.
Whether volunteering, working in finance and health care, leading in the nonprofit sector or collaborating with community partners, I have always believed the best results come from listening, working together and following through.
Why City Council, and why now
The decisions made today will shape Coquitlam’s affordability, transportation, public safety, parks, infrastructure and quality of life for years to come. I am running because residents deserve an accessible and collaborative voice at City Hall, and because growth must be managed with care, accountability and respect for the people already living here.
I want to bring practical management experience, community knowledge and a strong record of building partnerships to Council. I will listen carefully, explain decisions clearly and work respectfully with residents and colleagues, including when perspectives differ.
Together, we can build a Coquitlam that remains welcoming, safe, affordable, connected, financially responsible and prepared for the future.
